My experience has deepened my compassion and admiration towards immigrants and ex-pats throughout the world. I’m inspired and moved by the grit and iron-clad determination that I’ve witnessed from numerous individuals within these groups. We’re all navigating our unique quests simultaneously to find a place we call home and establish a life of pride, liberty, and happiness.

I really enjoy sharing my travel experiences with you and I will definitely keep on doing that, but I will also go a bit more personal and write about my living abroad experiences. In my opinion, studying abroad (as opposed to simple tourism) is so unique in that you get to live as a local and thus, appreciate another culture on a whole different level. You are quite literally integrated as a productive member of their society.
